Parents - if you can help with the first half of the dance - 9-10:30ish and/or the last half 10-12:30ish - or the whole time - please come to the gym and ask for Mrs Debruicker.

A reminder to students and faculty: Students MUST have a valid bus pass to ride the activity buses at 4:15, 5:30, and 6:30 pm. You must have a signed
pass from the coach, teacher, or sponsor with whom you stayed, or a signed permanent fall pass placed on the back of your BRHS id. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Coaches, teachers, and sponsors are to make sure that all students who stay for activities are provided with the appropriate passes. Thank you!

The last day to pay dues and join Key Club is Monday, September 24. No late dues will be accepted. If you plan to be part of this award winning club, come to Monday's meeting with your $13 dues!

Ladies, how well can you dance? If you have a vibrant personality, skills on the dance floor, and great school spirit, then you should try-out for
the Rock-ettes dance team (the winners of last year's IPS/Bands of America competition!) There will be a mandatory workshop for any girl interested on Monday, September 24, from 2:45 till 4:15 pm. Workshop participants will meet on the 2nd floor, above grand central. Come dressed to dance and don't be late!

Attention Broad Ripple student artists: Do you want to design or paint murals? The first meeting of the Public Art Club will meet Tuesday, Sept 25, after school in Rm H150 with Mrs. Phelps, Ms. Tyte, and
muralist Jose Sanchez. There are two exciting mural projects in the works - come join us and see how you may participate.

Hey Juniors! Don't forget the Junior Class meeting today after school. And remember, any junior boy or girl who wants to be sponsored by the junior class for Homecoming Prince or Princess should submit his/her name to Ms. Green by Tuesday, September 25. Turn in your name in A236.

Do you want to help the needy? Please donate to our Coats for Kids Drive. Just bring a gently used coat or jacket and deposit in the box in front of
the Key Club display case. Help a child stay warm this winter.

Hey BRHS!! Are you ready to get an early start on the class competition for Homecoming Week?? The Junior class is sponsoring a Penny War.
Beginning Monday, Sept. 24, during lunch mods, students can contribute pennies to their class's jar for positive points. Students in other classes may put silver coins or dollar bills in jars to contribute negative points. The competition will last through October 5 ... and winners will be announced that afternoon. Show your class spirit ... bring in those pennies for positive points for your class!!

The 28th ANNUAL Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) College Fair will be held on Thursday, October 4, from 6-9pm, at Crispus Attucks.

Broad Ripple will host its own College Fair on Oct. 16th from 6:30-8pm in the gymnasium. Over 60 colleges and universities will be here to answer
your questions. Mark your calendars to attend!

Don't forget to go to the CIESC website to register for fall drivers' ed classes at BRHS. That site is CIESC.k12.in.us! Deadline is Sept 25 and classes start October 10.
