Because of the KKK flyers that were distributed around campus a month ago, Tech's PTA suggested HANDS AROUND TECH to show our solidarity.
This event will take place from 7:15-8 AM around the fence of Tech on Halloween.
We need all parents, community, students, etc. to make this event a successful showing.
We will be starting at the 4 gates and filling in the gaps, students can join in, only if they want to, it is not mandatory. We are hoping to go around the whole perimeter of the school.
We want the students and staff to know that the whole neighborhood and parents are supporting Tech High School.
If any of the students would like to help us with making of posters or signs please support their efforts. We are hoping that this is a positive way of letting them express feeling about what is happening on Tech's campus and around the world.
Let's give the media a positive story; they will be here anyway.
